Josh Allen #2?  I mean he had a great year, but need to show he can do it again I would think.  Plus he was lucky with dropped INTs...I know all QBs have them, but 21  is a lot

I didn’t realize Allen had this many dropped picks. He played so well last year. I’d imagine he will only continue to improve and cut back on plays like these.

As many others have said, I was NOT a fan of his coming out of Wyoming. I was 100% wrong obviously. Thought he was way too wild in college and didn’t think he would translate.

1st post. Go Jets!

Remember when Jets fans everywhere laughed hysterically at the Bills for taking Josh Allen? Who’s laughing now?
I think the better question is "who cares now?" ... ancient history... all aboard the Zack Attack train.

The 39 on fields is an underrated troll job, tbh. Simms is paid for opinions. Throwing out hot takes like Aaron Rodgers is good isn’t getting him anywhere. I don’t agree with it, but I see where he’s coming from.

I’m just hoping he’s right about Zach. That will be enough for me.

That's the good thing about throwing the ball so hard.  I guess?

A Josh Allen regression would make me so very happy.  @slats

Simms obviously does sh*t like this once every few months for attention but if you are a Jet fan that still can't admit Allen is a top 5 QB you have a mental disability.

But no one in here has him outside of the top 5, from what I've read.  He's just not # 2.  He should not be ahead of Rodgers or Wilson.  They are no longer in their primes but they are still playing at the highest level of the sport not occupied by Mahomes.

I'd put Allen at 4.  5 if we assume Watson plays this year (this list, after all, does not factor in off-the-field activities).  And yes, for 3 years (draft year + first 2 seasons in the NFL) I was calling him a Running Back and a bust.

I don’t know why people get so triggered by ranking lists, especially ones from media pundits looking for attention.  If his last name wasn’t Simms he probably goes to a D3 college and never sniffs the NFL.  His lists are as meaningful as any posters around here are.

Don't we all get triggered when posters make lists?

What has Kyler Murray done to be at 7? He low key kinda sucked last year.

Threw for a handful of yards below 4K with over 67% comp rate, 26 TDs and only 12 picks?

Sounds pretty solid to me.  Hes better than I thought he would be and definitely didnt kinda suck last year

His overall numbers are admittedly better than I thought — but he was still 14th in QBR and had a weak second half where they collapsed and missed the playoffs. I don’t see how he’s a top ten QB.

Speaking of that, which idiot needs a brain transplant more?

Chris Simms

or

Sam Darnold

It's one guy's opinion. He has a decent record compared to most in projecting QBs. My only quibble (aside from Trubisky not even making the list) is that he took of a bit of a cop out by ranking no rookie higher than #27. It's likely one of them will look like a future star by the end of the season. Would be cool for Chris to take a bold stand on at least one of them.

Absolutely.  Herbert was what, somewhere in the range of QB10-12 last season?  And Joe Burrow wouldn't have been far behind had he managed to avoid the knee injury.  Odds are at least one of the 5 guys taken in the first round this year will end up somewhere in the top 20.

Simms has officially lost and credibility that he might have had left.  Darnold has been the lowest rated QB in the league over the last 3 years and any list that rates him much higher than last is DUMB.

But what about supporting cast and Drew Brees? Darnold should be ranked #1.

What if he ends up being right and Darnold is a top 20 QB?

Does he get his credibility back?
