There is more context to this type of stat (pressures, throw aways, drops) Zach, for the most part, passed the eye test. So unlike games last year when he flashed for a quarter or so, he had a good 2 quarters and a great 4th quarter sandwiched around a difficult 3rd quarter. I'd rather the QB be good early and late and win the game. Wilson was the biggest factor in the Jets coming back from 10 points down today to win in a stadium that is never easy for road teams and has been a house of horrors for the Jets. Why can't fans be happy that the kid led the team to a 4th quarter win by driving the team on two long drives (60+ yards and 80+ yards) for 14 points in the last few minutes down by 10 in front of a raucous crowd with a patchwork OL????????????? This just reinforces that many many people on this board don't really care about wins or team success, but come here to voice opinions and a "win" or "success" for them is to say "I was right." Wilson played today after sitting for 6 weeks, had 3 days of practice, and led the team to a key road win - not as a passenger, but as the driver of the bus. I thought today was the most encouraging Jets win in years - maybe since Darnold's win in Buffalo at the end of 2018. It was the most meaningful game the Jets played since 2018 and the Jets won. I could see “better than I thought they would” but they’re going to, likely, grade out very poorly as a unit this week.
