LaCanfora: Situation in Green Bay is about to become unglued.

Also that woke hump who works for the globe  used a  DM from a random person as evidence that Mac Jones was unhappy. La Canfora’s sources I’d imagine are similar based off of his history of getting things completely wrong. To sum this up, now’s the time to hop on the Packers.

Yep. The counter to that defense is to line up and mash it with the run, but only a handful of teams have the personnel to do that anymore. Reminiscent of how personnel departments overreacted to the run and shoot and the results was any team with a functional running back walked through the playoffs. Barry Foster had 1700 yards on the ground. Garry Brown. Thurman, Emmitt, etc

Not surprisingly, the Patriots are perfectly suited to that style of play.

Too much to do about nothing. It’s still early and if you ask me, he wasn’t 100% last week. His thumb/ hand seemed to impede him from throwing more downfield.

but what do I know.

He hasn't thrown for more than 255 yards in a single game this year. He did that 9 times last year. His thumb was only an issue for one of those games.

The issue is their Bellichick-esque insistence on surrounding their hall of fame QB with the least amount of talent at WR. It's been Adams and a bunch of scrubs for years.  They used a 1st round pick on jordan love in 2020 with Tee Higgins and Pittman on the board.

Some serious buyers remorse in GB.  On both sides of AR's $150M extension.

Maybe on AR's side but are the Packers really going to do better than him, regardless of how much he talks?  I'm somewhat bummed that this didn't happen when the Jets had nothing at QB (e.g. the Fitzmagic days).  There's no way the Jets are going after AR now but I think this team would be a Super Bowl contender if we had him.

Agreed. Although, I still think the future of this league is through the air, (Josh Allen and Mahomes still get the job done) but being able to do both effectively, as opposed to whatever the hell Kliff Kingsbury is trying to do in Arizona, is the way to go.

Rogers has been massively overrated as far as the whole package goes for some time.  He has never been held to account and nothing has ever been his fault.  It's hilarious how people blast the packers because poor Aaron only has two high end rbs and some average wrs and oh lord actually facing a few injuries on the oline.  How can the league mvp be expected to be any good when he does not have the best wr in the league at his disposal.

He in the end will be remembered for one super bowl on a host of damn good teams.

He’ll be remembered as a HoF QB.  And bad hair cuts.

This news nullifies our win.  So we've now beaten 3 backup QBs and another QB who was disinterested, didn't want to be there and gave up on plays.  And the Broncos game this week and the Patriots game the week after are also against backups.

Our season opener is 11/6 against Buffalo.
