But Jets best receiver is Garrett Wilson by far who has steadily improved and becoming an impact player. But for ZW, Mims has already become his 'corey davis'. Look back at the critical 4th and 10 in the first Bills game...after running the ball 8 times, we NEEDED a big pass play to preserve the series (and the win). Even with more talent in the WR room to take pressure off him this season he is the same player. Frustratingly inconsistent and cant stay on the field. In this case the business decision would be to be on the field. He has no more guaranteed $ on his contract after this season, and after the past 2 seasons' results (injuries a huge part of them) it seems as likely as not that his $10.5MM salary for next year exceeds the annual $ he'd get on a new deal if cut.
