That will help, but Bam hasn’t looked the same since he tweaked his ankle.

 Missing lanes, less explosive…

I mean Ty Johnson is decent, MC hasn't looked great this year either since Breece went down. Not sure, unless Strev is packaged in as the running game.

Who is going to produce at RB? Bam has disappeared the last 2 weeks..

He's being hit as he gets the ball. Breece would not begetting anything either. To be honest, "establishing" a run game is really not a valid core strategy for this team the rest of the season.

Unleash JJ and Huff:

Head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that he was wrong about Lucas' injury after Saturday's loss to the Chiefs, saying that it wasn't his elbow, but instead a patellar tendon issue, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Lucas departed this past weekend's game against Kansas City with what was originally called an elbow issue but later revealed as a patellar tendon injury. While the severity of the 322-pounder's issue have yet to be revealed, Stone Forsythe would likely operate as Seattle's starting right tackle should Lucas miss any additional time

Jets OC needs to get the running game involved, but a leopard doesn't change it's spots.

Jets OC needs an opening drive that results in the TD but a leopard doesn't change it's spots.

We probably keep this one close during the first half but never take the lead. I see a repeat of the game plan MLF had against the Vikings. Mike White will perform well. Hopefully we don't have to settle for FG's in the red zone like we did against the Vikings.

Special teams and Jets defense has to come up huge. When Seattle has the ball, they can run and pass effectively and Seahawks OC Shane Waldron will figure out a way to take advantage and get the upper hand.

The pivotal moment will have to come on a game changing turnover, and maybe Jets special teams finally gets to make up for all the let downs throughout the season.

Unless the Jets can run the ball like they did in the fourth quarter against the Bills back in the first week in November, this won't be easy and the Jets have to play mistake free.

Seattle can't score against our D.  They are the worst offense we have played since the Bears game.

Unfortunately its MLF that is the problem in the red zone.

RZ will get sorted with MW. I’m confident of that. He’s far too smart and quick w/his reads to not score TDs consistently.

MW had so few reps w/the 1s before the CS asked him to rescue the team a month ago. He’ll be ready to cash in these final 2 weeks.

MW doesn’t score touchdowns, though. He gets the O into position to kick field goals.

Everything is on the line. MW is cleared and will have a full week to practice. Jets are coming off 4 losses in a row. All pretty close. They should have their critical starters healthy. Something has got to give. The jets are due a win. This defense is too good not to step up in a game like this.

Close game. Jets win 24-20

So the originally thought it was his elbow and later realized it wasn’t his elbow, was his knee?

Jets get all the help they need from other teams in Week 16 plus White gets cleared to play.... this has soul crushing Jet loss written all over it.

There are other soul-crushing scenarios that can play out.

A couple of quick examples off the top of my head:

-Beating Seattle but losing in Miami week 17

-Winning out but the Patriots win out (so we miss the playoffs)

This one is very hard for me to see because the 1 seed is likely going to be in play for the Bills so there's incentive to play hard.

You're right though, winning this week then losing to Bridgewater in a play-in game sounds worse.
