C Mart
Let's see if the Jets process this transaction today. If not, I wonder if they try to work on trading him. Nothing needs to be processed until tomorrow at 4:00

I know RB is a low valued position but I think he’s shown enough that he’d be an upgrade for a handful of teams at the RB 2/3 spot.

Popular Post JustInFudge
Not surprised. The one thing the Hard Knocks and One Jets Drive has shown is that Carter is a leader and is loved by this team. He has more upside too. Wish Bam the best!

He was 5th on our depth chart, he's going to go be 2nd of 3rd back on some other teams depth chart

I just think knight is a better blocker and a different style of Rb than the other guys we already have in breece, cook and abakanda. I'd prefer the blocking and banging style of running of Knight. He will get picked up by someone imo. Pats might be a leading candidate since they just traded one of their RBs.
hawk
Why would you announce and do this today? Only thought, try to work a trade and if not, they may not have an interest in putting him on practice squad. Wait till tomorrow, he may get lost in all of the cuts. Announcing it today is like putting up a billboard.

JoeNamathsFurCoat
Michael Carter benefiting from that friendship with Rodgers Bam is the more dangerous runner Carter is a glorified JAG, can't run between the tackles, can't break away from anyone

I expect Bam to get claimed - he's good enough to be the 3rd back on a lot of rosters.

BurnleyJet
Our backfield contains Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook, who we should have drafted instead of double Safety round one and two. Who gives a F about Bam Knight, M Carter.

They didn't announce this - the agent leaked it. Bam the tougher runner. MC the better 3rd down back so that's pretty much what that boiled down to. And they love the Pitt kid and he was a relatively high pick who has shined. Hope he doesn't go to a rival. And he not clearing waivers. That's as unlikely as JD going on a diet and giving up pretzels.
