    • I was just watching the videos of professor Saleh doing his sermon. Good god, he’s a herm clone. Makes absolutely no sense when he talks. My question: who’s the ******* moron that interviewed him and was impressed? Good god the lions kicked him out of their building too after he was interviewed. We’re the Jets, what is there to be positive about going by our track record the last 10 years? We need a realist like @T0mShane to be our leader. All woody does is hire guys like jet nut/Larz, the acolytes of positivity.
    • If the fines follow the player (unclear but if they do), then Reddick’s career may be over if he doesn’t show up at all this year. As this trade didn’t work out for the Jets, no one else is trading for his rights a year later either, and the $5MM or whatever it is that he’s racked up this season would double to $10MM if he does his mindless preseason holdout again — he’d then have to show up for 12-13 regular season games under his current contract for free (just to break even on the fines). He’ll never do that, so his career is over. As it is if he merely shows up for the last 6 games he nets zero after fines. I don’t think there are stiff fines for suddenly holding out for the postseason - it’s never happened before - but that’d make him radioactive as a UFA and would undo millions more on his next best offer. He is one dumb f**k.
    • An OC has more responsibilities within an organization than just calling the plays. Hackett still does everything else, it is only one thing that he won't do now. This has happened on lots of other teams (both successful and unsuccessful) where play calling duties are altered. HCs have often taken over calling plays on O / D but retained the coordinators that they took these duties away from. We're trying to course correct via some smaller adjustments - not abandon ship. As mentioned above, a few differences here and there and we're 4-1 right now. No point going nuclear on it all and starting over - that's the sort of thing you do when the season is lost. This season is far from lost.
