AFJF
Enjoyed interviewing him...a few flubs on my part but I was surprised to see how much time he was willing to give us. We got in to one or two topics I didn't expect to so no prep notes. Either way...appreciated his willingness to talk to JN.
#27TheDominator
Remember when he first got the job, Cimini was the troll and Manish pandered to the fans. Ah, good times. I liked him a bunch when he started, but it wasn't because he pandered. He used to cover everything. No story too small and I appreciated that. I am somebody who likes to know who is on the practice squad and getting a try out. Once he was around a bit he tried to inject some opinion and knowledge and that is where the complaints started.

AFJF
+1 I feel dirty just opening the topic He's a polarizing guy and he did acknowledge at the end of the interview that fans can be tough on him (myself included at times). I can't criticize him because he didn't place any constraints on the amount of time we had with him and he was very honest. Even though he supported Rex, he admitted that the right time to let him go would have been when the GM change was made. I'm not so sure a lot of people would have expected him to say that. JetNation
Glenn Naughton sat down with Manish Mehta and got his take on the New York Jets. They discussed Geno Smith, Muhammad Wilkerson’s contract and some of the roster battles that will be front and center in training camp. They also discuss where things went wrong for Rex Ryan when he was the head coach for the Jets. You can listen to the interview by clicking play above. keysersoze
I always thought Cimini and Mehta get too much hate from the fans. There are instances where they can be overly critical, but for hte most part, can you really disagree with them? Were the Jets not a circus the last few years? Was Rex and the Jets management not dysfunctional? If anything, I give Cimini and Mehta props for bringing this stuff to the mainstream. The fans deserve to know what's going on with the team, good or bad.

SoFlaJets
Excellent job Glenn, So many times with these type of interviews it seems like the Chris Farley-Paul McCartney SNL spoof. Not here, JN's man on the scene was right there with some really good questions and very little lag time between. Good job and thank you guys. Oh yea and thank you AFJ for NOT bringing the scrub into the mix and straight up saying Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the QB.

NJ
Surprisingly ... his spoken word had me thinking he might have actually known a little of what he was talking about ... then I heard that Rex was a disciplinarian other than the Geno/SanDiego issue. That's when it become clear that Glenn could have got comparable or better info from the local high school papers sports editor. Great job on your part though, bro.
