Worst games per ESPN:

1) Sam Darnold ghost game

2) Matt Simms/Geno Smith combined vs Dolphins in December, 2013

3) Luke Falk @ Eagles

4) Mark Sanchez @ NE 2009

Peyton Mannings 2015 game @ KC is their worst of all time. He was 5/20 with 4 picks.

The garbage time padding helped him out. When it mattered it was the worst.

Pretty sure QBR considers that.

The Sanchez Buffalo game in 2009 wasn't worse?  I find that hard to believe..

Geno had a number of games that were worse, but I'm not sure he finished any.  His game against Buffalo in 2014 was certainly worse, but they had to pull him since every other pass was an INT

We as a fan base really need to adjust our priorities.

How about the fact that all of these games are in the last decade and a half?

I feel like we deserve a break

Richard Todd's 5 picks with a pick 6 in the AFC Championship game?

Joe Namath had a 5 pick 3 pick 6 game.   How is that not the worst?   Three pick 6s.

Yep - because what BB is best know for is taking his foot off of the brake (or neck) when he gets a lead in attempt to not embarrass a team; Sportsmanship is his way /sarcasm

And of course, there was no garbage time padding in any of those other outings.

Screw the stats. The kid's got game. He needs to make the boring plays and let the D keep the game close. Than he can play hero ball if the Jets need a 4th quarter comeback. It's all about maturity. Slow and steady for 3.5 quarters is what he needs to do. Big upset coming up this week in Denver as the kid learns to take what the D gives him and doesn't force the action until late in the game.

If he's the QB we think he is, he watches the film learns from it and improves. Rookies have to take their lumps. Welcome to the NFL kid.

Joe wasn't running the "Shanahan" system.  He was running the "Johny Walker" system.
