Without going after him the jets probably have another vet QB, maybe healthy or maybe not but they also would have. A first round OT last year, and a Wr in the 2nd round , a high 2nd round pick this year. A lot of cap space and would be without a host on non NFL quality players and coaches. They convinced themselves they were just a QB away (which they weren't) and almost everything they did last year was based off of rodgers.
