The guy was picking at me for months, I asked him to stop, he didn't, he crossed a ton of lines with me and I let it all go because of his unfortunate situation. Eventually, like anyone who is being harassed for months on end, I popped and said two words I shouldn't have said. Guess what- since then, and it was years ago, he stopped his crap and we get along just fine, helped me land in my new town and find the right house. After all, any screen grabs wouldn't be an issue if not for an active effort being made to trash both this site and its owner (and lying to do it). What can I say, I've spent far too much of my time on both of these sites and met their respective owners, so I know full well it's hardly an isolated incident. Either way, the truth is that just like all of the times before this, it'll keep up for a little while, people will eventually settle in wherever they end up liking it the most, and then everyone will move on to more interesting matters, especially with the season now upon us. Right there was the genesis of it all, the seeds of so much that came after were sown. Bad times. Those were ugly days. I felt bad for those who were directly involved and felt they had to choose sides. It was a multi-day/week fireworks display for bystanders like me who weren't really involved. That poli-sci forum can be toxic....best to just stay away. The ironic thing to me was how the defection took place because of Ham's mental instability and power trip, and then Ham ended up getting canned at JI anyway. He had been negative rep'd almost to death at JI getting one of those little red chicklets under his name. Then the scout conversion takes place and miraculously there he is with a picture of his avatar and JI identity that now shows a bazillion green chicken nuggets under his name as if he's so beloved.
