Ian Rappaport don't discount Scott Fitterer he was incredibly impressive in the interview.

Scotty Fitt! If the glove doesn't fit you must acquit! I don't want the Jets hiring this piece of Sh*T! Im just kidding about calling him a piece of SH*T but too many nicknames and rhymes go with this guys name to hire him. You guys will have a field day when he makes a bad move. Still a NO on Fitt!

I don't care. If Fitterer is the best man for the job, then he should get the job even against Gase's wishes. However, I haven't seen the Seahawks drafting all too well in recent years? Twitterer should have a real live body of work demonstrating his ability to project players on an NFL field. Otherwise, go with the guy that can prove his past success.

FWIW Mark Dominic thinks he is the second best of our candidates behind Douglas who he thinks will not take the job.

I don’t know who Mark Dominic is but he thinks Douglas will NOT accept?

Are we playing up this Seattle guy because Joe Douglas is going to turn us down and we can pretend we liked Fitterer betterer?

Then why would Joe interview? Such a waste of everyone’s time.

Mark Dominic is the ex-bucs GM who straight up hates the Jets probably because he got taken on the Revis trade

Taken on the Revis trade by Idzik no less.  Too bad he turned those pics into Sheldon in 2013 and Jalen f'in Saunders in 2014

If you are not going to take the job, why interview in the first place?  Should have just pulled a Paton and declined.  Whoever Marc Dominic is.  That's a pretty silly thing to say.

Yeah I don't want another GM that can't draft OL.  Seahawks have been awful at it.

There's very little info on Fitterer out on the web ....by far the least of any of the 4 rumored candidates .  Even on the Seahawks website there's nothing.  He obviously keeps a low profile either by  natural predisposition or organizational policy

What body of work? None of these guys have a track record. None have had final say over players their organizations signed or drafted. This is all on interview, philosophy, and recommendations.

so why not just interview a homeless guy?  ridiculous.  these people have work histories.  First time GMs do nopt sprout from pods.
