The Jets want to save some money and see if they can ruin a Top 3 drafted QB from 2018 and for an encore, maybe ruin a Top 2 drafted QB from 2021.

Given that much money, would you rather go to the Chiefs and compete for the SB, or go to the team drafting #2 in the draft?

It's hard to knock the GM when we have no idea what the player was actually looking for.

He can pitch a wonderful vision to the guy but as the player looks to the other side and sees an established QB, better location/better team overall, for just about the same money...can't put much blame on these guys.

Zeitler was the one that got away. 8m/yr guard scooped up by the Ravens when we were asleep and putting our eggs into the Thuney basket. 

Ravens and Chiefs getting better, we're hanging around waiting on leftovers.
