Good point. Always think of him as a DT but is listed as a DE

Someone has to play DE on running downs, McDonald cant do it.  JFM and JJ get majority of snaps at End  McDonald in on obvious passing downs.

No more DTs please.  The rotation should be set with Williams, Kinlaw, Thomas and Fotu

When Saleh got to the superbowl with the 49ers 10 of the 45 guys that dressed were D-line. Saleh will always prioritize the D-line.

Meanwhile we have the worst offensive talent in the entire NFL and it’s not even close.  Literally two players the opposing defense has to worry about.   I have moved on from a tackle at pick 10 if any one of the top 3 receivers are available.   We need playmakers in the absolute worst way.  That Lazard signing absolutely killed us - $11 million for a slow possession guy who forgot how to catch and has no interest in even trying to improve.  Just an awful signing.

Defense is pretty much set   Gotta figure a very O heavy draft and hopefully a vet WR too

its actually smart when you think about it. fresh DL rotation vs the OL who plays every snap. it should give the DL an advantage.

So because of this, they shouldn’t be signing defensive players? Getting rotational pieces along the DL is an easy sell for this team when you have had multiple guys who have increased their values significantly after playing here as a rotational piece. Getting offensive players is a much harder sales pitch. They are in a do or die year, they are doing whatever they can to fill out the offensive side. Expecting top end offensive guys to want to risk it here isn’t realistic.
