Reddick is dumber than we thought

Per Rap sheet...Jets and Reddick's agents had a deal worked out that would have allowed him to get all of his money back that he'd lost in fines to go along with a pay raise to make him "more than whole".  Joe D and agents agreed on the deal and Reddick shot it down.

Not true . He would have taken that deal then leave as a free agent after the season.  Rejecting that deal leaves him bound to the Jets.

Absolutely false. If he didn’t want to play just for the Jets he would accept the offered deal because it was only for this season, it made up for the fines and he would be free to walk at the end of the season.

Dude has literally been this way at every single stop in his career. This go’s well beyond not wanting to play for the Jets, though that’s not entirely wrong. In I’m guessing he might have other things like his business issue with the healthcare company and is simply compounding bad decision with worse decisions people seem to do when in over their heads.

Reddick just seen Burns get paid $28M. He wants a multiple years guarenteed in that range. No one year patch which his CAA representatives tried to line him up with. 

That's been Reddick's stance all along and JD felt he can change that and JD was wrong.

That is amazing because when the fines started puling up I didn't think there would be a way to even accomplish that. They did and he still said no.

I fear he just doesn't want to play football and doesn't know how to say it.

At least the Jets can feel a bit better about their judgment, given that Reddick fooled his agents as well. Overall, the situation sucks, but Reddick would not be the Jets' savior anyway. He would have been an asset on the field, but god knows what he'd do in the locker room. Truly a mess.
