I really hope not.  Crowder is very good - it would be a negligible upgrade and less exciting if they did.

That's a legitimate NFL WR core.  Not the best but certainly NFL caliber...and would be our first in a very long time.

JuJu is younger, more durable and more diverse (can put him on the outside).

Also, this is Crowder's final year. Good idea to look ahead.

Don’t mind it he’s still young and a good player he’s just not as good as people thought he was after his first few years..

The argument would be though would you rather pay JuJu or get a WR in the draft for much cheaper at 23 or 34?

Totally agree. Sam seems to have some chemistry with Crowder. As far as JuJu I'm thinking he would want too much $$, especially as he's a #2 WR.

Probably.  Crowder is one of my favorite players we have.  If that does happen I’m hoping we trade him instead of just releasing him and get something for him

Is Juju really an upgrade over Crowder?  I'm not so sure.  If so it's not significant.  Signing Juju and cutting Crowder is a JD kind of move.

He's not spending money but somehow convinces the fan base he did something special.  

New isn't necessarily better, it's just new.

It's exactly what he did with the OL last year - and all y'all couldn't stop saying how genius he was.  

 

Keep Crowder with Juju and then you're doing something.

JuJu's a good kid. Maybe needs some maturing.

But he's not a "me first" diva WR and seems pretty likeable.

I don't care about Tik-toc.

He's a very solid weapon at WR--after striking out on IOL in FA I'd like to cement the WR position so we can concentrate on the line in the draft.

Although I still want Toney ?

2) Then keep him this year

There is no reason not to sign Juju and keep Crowder.

Smith Schuster, along with the ilk of WR's that the Jets currently have, fit Darnold skill set well. One read, quick slant across the middle, or whichever side he rolls to.

As long as we DO NOT cut Crowder this would be awesome. We need a great crop or WRs and should not be an injury away from an average unit

And if you keep them both you can go hard for OL, CB and Edge in the draft.  One less position to worry about in the early rounds.

With all four of them it's still a pretty average unit - but it is a legitimate one though.  We haven't had an NFL caliber WR core in so long that we may forget what one looks like.
