New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson will not be suspended by the NFL for his arrests over the past two years, a league spokesman confirmed to NFL.com.

The decision comes after Anderson pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving in June stemming from a Jan. 19 arrest. Anderson was sentenced to six months of non-reporting probation in the case.

Anderson was initially facing multiple felony counts before Florida prosecutors dropped the charges. Anderson was arrested after he allegedly failed to yield during a traffic stop.

In May 2017, he was arrested for allegedly pushing a police officer at an event in Miami, but the charge was eventually dropped.

Players who are arrested are subject to potential NFL discipline under the league's personal conduct policy.

so just what did he do that warranted a suspension in the first place?  he wasn't drunk or high.  he mouthed off at a cop after getting stopped for speeding. so what.  and before that he allegedly resisted arrest at some club scene in florida.  again he wasn't accosting women or drinking to excess or high.  so what's the big deal.  i get the part about speeding and acting like a knucklehead but it takes time for kids to start acting like adults.

No loss, no gain.

He's f*cking useless now that teams have extensive tape on him and he didn't, seemingly, do anything to improve.  It also doesn't help that he has a nasty attitude if the first pass of the game doesn't go his way.  Robby reeks of a guy who read his own headlines last year and seems to think his sh*t doesn't stink.

I'd try and trade him.  We already have a freak athlete that runs lazy routes in Pryor.  At least Pryor has a good attitude.

Well, up until now, the single biggest failure of this offense has been its inability to get this dude the ball in space. I'm sure a lot of that is on Darnold (e.g. The overthrow last week), so let's hope that as Darnold gets better, we actually see this guy catch the ball from time to time.

I knew once Bowles got rid of Morton that would happen. Morton didn’t have Quincy, prior. He only had Robbie. It is not rocket science,  you find ways to get your best weapons the ball. He had no choice but to design plays for his only weapon. Bowles Didn’t like the frequent deep shots, he allowed forte to cry to media about it. “ he thinks we are the New Orleans saints” a player was quoted. I’m sorry, is being compared to a very well run offense a insult ? ?

Bowles logic:

*Lets player complain about playcalling to media*

*Tells Terrell Pryor that he’s in a world of sh*t for revealing his own injury to the media*

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson won’t lose any playing time as a result of his multiple run-ins with the law this offseason.

Multiple media outlets have reported that no suspension will take place as Anderson dodges a bullet and will stay active as the Jets try to get their sputtering offense on track.
