He’s a hothead, but a damn good OG and most of his teammates loved him.

After the whole Incognito/Martin thing, Martin was the one who came off as a mentally unstable nutjob to me. Posting pics of him with a shotgun on Instagram talking about “taking revenge”. His old high school even shut down for a day because of it.

Agreed totally. I think Martin, NOT Richie, was the problem in that whole matter.

Honestly he's a scary guy. If your a D Lineman you don't wanna be battling Cogs all day long. No telling what he will do if you start beating him. I could really see him gouging out eyeballs and hard punches to the groin if he's getting beat. That kind of a player is scary!

Theres crazy, then theres crazy where you have to worry about the safety of people.  

This dudes brain is mush.  He should not be allowed to play football anymore and further damage it.  The nfl is stupid for letting this guy play again.

Something bad is going to happen and the nfl is going to get crushed.

On a live chat with Bart Scott, I asked him who the dirtiest player in the NFL was?  No hesitation, he answered, "Richie Incognito".

 

I think this is the perfect move for Oakland.  

With Jonny Gruden on a 10 year deal, a sports commentator as your GM and an alienated fanbase, this is going to be the most epic implosion of a team in quite some time.  This team will have the number one pick in the 2020 draft.

Indeed. And if Jack the Ripper was still haunting Whitechapel, you'd say he's the perfect fit to manage the Raiders cheerleading squad. Incognito is actually disturbed and probably brain damaged. When he's trying to cut off Gruden's head with a chainsaw, don't come crying to us.

I wonder when the NFL will start mandating cognitive testing for players who display behavior of the sort Incognito has.  Right now, they can fine or suspend you, but they don't seem to worry about possible warning signs of CTE until well after the fact.  Once you pass your concussion protocol, you are good to go, even if you are chainsawing heads off of dolls for fun.

This is a textbook case but it's probably way to slippery a slope for Goodell to even consider until public opinion gets ignited over this.

Meant to be a Raider, what does that nonsense mean today?  He could have played 30 years ago?

Sorry but Richie is a complete whack job.  He has severe mental health issues.
