I think the J’s are still paying Mac and Bowles. At least Bowles earns something in TB to offset the loss. Next week is a definite loss and I can’t see them winning a game in the near future. This roster is terrible, with arguably the guy who is supposed to be our best player in bell hurt, a QB that still makes the same mistakes in year 3 as he did his rookie year, a defense that still can’t cover and an “offensive guru” that stinks at running an offense. In this context, as a response to somebody saying "unless Gase goes full Kotite...", I was inferring that Gase indeed already is like Kotite and am surprised everyone doesn't realize it.
