2021 NY JETS/NFL FREE AGENCY DRAFT TRADES RUMORS HAPPENINGS ***

Fingers crossed for Neal. With the potential lynchpin LB corps we’re putting together, if we can backend that with Maye and Neal - that’s something. They’ll be a lot of hats flying around back there and receivers listening for footsteps.

Are you (and others) going to be talking about this 10 years from now?  It was one 3rd day draft pick.

A 3rd day pick that JD made up for by acquiring others through draft day trades.  He was able to trade down and still come away with Mims so I think he had the right to pick who he wanted regardless of position.

Depends if JD relinquishes himself and this organization actually wins something.

Are you sure relinquishes is the word that you want to use?

transitive verb. 1 : to withdraw or retreat from : leave behind. 2 : give up relinquish a title. 3a : to stop holding physically : release slowly relinquished his grip on the bar. b : to give over possession or control of : yield few leaders willingly relinquish power.

It's just hard for me to understand why people don't get what a mess it would be to A: pass on a QB with the potential to be great (Wilson) and B: pick two left tackles in consecutive years with their first pick and have one disgruntled LT want to leave the team in a few years because RT gets paid considerably less.

Alternatively, they draft Wilson at 2, he gets sacked a bunch early on and decides he’d rather take an EVP job at JetBlue, meanwhile Deshaun Watson becomes a Patriots phenom and Penei Sewell is Orlando Pace for the Miami Dolphins. Douglas would be a dead man walking.

Neal went for 1 year, 5 million.

Low number that I’m sure JD could of matched. Going to assume he was simply more attracted to a better roster in a extremely weak division. Add in no taxes vs NY/NJ taxes.

Probably an easy decision.

How sure?

This was 100% guaranteed.

Joe was used again.

I know what we should do so this never happens again.  Never bid on players and they will never choose another team instead of us.

It is free agency.  The player chooses where he wants to go.  You bid on players and sign some, others go elsewhere.  The player is in control.

Proves himself would have been a better choice of words.

Do you offer on-line english and grammar classes.

Thanks
