nycdan
Plus this: Jets head coach Robert Saleh told reporters Friday that WR Keelan Cole will be a game-time decision for Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. Cole was added to the Jets injury report Thursday because of a knee issue.
JohnnyLV
Don't really care. Elijah is likely an upgrade anyway. We should trade Crowder. 4 2 5

Saul Goodman
Brutal. We could really use a reliable, sure handed veteran out there, especially week 1.
thebuzzardman
Davis, Moore, Mimsy and Berrios etc here and there. Better if Cole and Crowder were playing, but Jets will be fine.
Popular Post Warfish
Tough break, but at least we have enough WR talent that we're not truly desperate. Lets see how the other kids play, Mims will have an opportunity I think to step up this week, Davis should establish himself as a #1 right off, and (presuming he is fully healthy), Moore gets his big debut. Davis/Mims/Moore feels a heckofalot better than what we rolled out week one last year, Perriman/Crowder/Hogan.

Popular Post BroadwayJoe12
Exactly why you don’t trade him / WR talent. A 17 week season, would bet the farm that we’ll be happy he’s suiting up when one (or two… or three) of our guys cannot. 8
rangerous
wilson has been getting reps with moore, cole etc and not crowder for the past couple of weeks so his being out might not matter so much.
Beerfish
Mims has to absolutely seize his chance now. If he does not look good with this chance he officially goes into the suspect category from prospect. 3
GreenFish
Jeff Smith is likely going to see some snaps. Get ready for the Jet Sweep. Always felt the Jets should be the team that runs that play the most. 2
FTL Jet Fan
Sucks Crowder is out as it’s always nice to have as many Vets out there with a rookie QB especially on the road in his rookie debut. Hopefully Cole is up on Sunday. Having Moore makes me more comfortable.

Good point. Though when it comes to an experienced, calming voice in the huddle, would have been nice to have Crowder out there. Larz
Moore missed a lot of time with a leg injury and really wasn’t practicing against NFL Corners. He’s a very talented guy but he’s inexperienced. Wilson also has a lot of chemistry with Davis. I’m not expecting a huge day from Moore. That would be great tho lol

That’s why they didn’t trade out of that 2nd slot in the 2nd round, they wanted this guy and and they’re going to use him. Should be fun.

After all the pre-draft hype, hoopla and plenty of chances (last year, off season, this year's camp and preseason) to prove himself better than the rest of our receivers, is Mims a starter for this year's team? Guess the coaches don't see it either.

So it’s been a hard nfl beginning for mims. But what an opportunity he has.

I actually expect mimsy to start Sunday and continue to start for the next 5 plus years.

I truly believe that JD was waiting for the season to start to fully evaluate the WR corps and if Cole, Moore and Mims look good to go (Davis is a proven commodity), Crowder is gone. His presence will only retard the development of younger players. Frankly, I think Baltimore would be an excellent destination. Jackson would greatly benefit from having a security blanket like Crowder around.

This was not an exposure to someone who tested positive later; Crowder tested positive. Now he needs two negative tests at least 24 hours apart before he can join the team. Even if he tested negative today and then again on Sunday, I think Saleh ruled out anyone who wasn't able to practice today from playing on Sunday.
