Von Miller signs with Buffalo Bills

So.......they are admitting their pass rushing picks are busts ?  Excellent!

2020 Epenesa 2nd round

2021 Rousseau 1st round, Basham 2nd round

They just fixed it with Miller.

Jets shouldn't want ZW to be throwing 35-40 passes against Bills.  Now more then ever...Jets need to have a dominant OL for the run game.  Draft a stud like Breece Hall to complement MC.

With the Tyler Conklin addition and Uzomah...Jets can play 12 personnel ball.  And ram the rock down Bills throats.  Von Miller won't like that for sure.

In JD and Saleh's minds there's an Arms Race for OL and DL.

JD has now run two Drafts and used two 1st Round picks on OL, trading up the second time.

"Saleh speak" is all about the DL, the LEO position, rotating the DL.  They drafted Nick Bosa at #2 overall for him.

The writing is on the wall.  Our GM and HC are each focused on the Line, just different sides of it.  Would not be shocking in the slightest if the Jets went OT and Edge at 4 and 10..... especially if the only big move at OT has been to let Morgan Moses leave.

Isn’t the oline a finished product lol where are we playing this rookie?

It was a joke, dude. That said, Becton is not reliable and Fant is in his last year. So, no, it’s not a finished product by any means.

This is a luxury that current SB contenders have . Miller will be a specialist on a very stout defense they will keep him fresh and will be absolute terrors in situational football. If you think this is a bad signing you need to take another look Just remember Fred Dean and Charles Haley and the havoc they caused. Buffalo has no need to even attempt to play this guy full time.

wanna bet ? First off that contract is worked so that they can get out after 2 years and like I said Miller will be a situational pass rusher during the season to keep him fresh then he will be unleashed in the playoffs. Like I said he's a luxury we are not yet ready for as a team. When and if we become an elite team you will see the same kind of moves. The teams that made this type of signing famous were the 49er's of the 80's followed by the Cowboys. Haley wreaked havoc for both teams as a part timer for a big salary.

This is great!

A “now all the pressure is on you to be the SB Champs NOW” move that adds more pressure to, not merely win, but dominate in games and meet fans’ unreasonable expectations that the Bills, historically) can never achieve or realize (see the 1990s, for a brief recap)?

they fail this year, their QB salary Balloons in the following years and all those FA contracts and 2nd contracts of draftees will drag them into salary cap hell or force them to strip down the team’s overall talent/lose players in order to pay their QB.

Yeah this is spot on. It's basically a "f**k we need to win now" move. And I agree they will try and keep him fresh for the playoffs. They know the pass rushers they had last season were not up to making that key sack in the 4th quarter of the playoff game against Mahomes, so they figure this guy might be able to make a stop with 13 seconds left...
