Popular Post ManCave Analyst
Guys, in case you are not aware, he lost his sister to suicide in January 2018. This obviously had a Big Influence on his mental well-being so early in his career. He currently works on being active helping those with mental health issues. If you go to NFL.com and search his name you will be moved by this young man. Add this to the story of the Williams brothers losing their mother to breast cancer growing up. And having to deal with that depression and making it to the NFL. I hope that you all join me with your support and positive comments for them and any other teammates with similar circumstances. As long as the money is reasonable, assuming a one year deal with little guarantee, there is no real downside to this signing. Giving a guy who has underperformed a chance to make the roster. Embrace the Suck
Can back up multiple spots. Seems to be best used as an interior pass rusher. Good depth rotation player. Still young, had a high upside, previous experience with coaching and scheme. Seems like a good signing with potential upside north of depth/rotation guy.

Last year with the Raiders he spent about 50% of his snaps at DT and his production was improved along with his pass rush win rate. Still hardly setting the world on fire, though. I would imagine he will be playing inside almost exclusively here. This is a calculated swing worth taking. What led to former 49ers first-round pick Solomon Thomas’ breakout season with the Raiders? After failing to find consistent success in San Francisco, former 49ers top pick Solomon Thomas is having a breakout season with the Raiders. Its not a bad strategy, unless a guy will be a true detriment to your team, Al Davis used to do this all the time with his Raiders, collecting someone elses former #1 busts, his rationale was that at some point, somewhere, someone really saw something special about the player and that maybe in different circumstances he could catch lightning in a bottle. Doesn't work out....just move on quickly from the player. 1
