JetNation
The NFL announced today that the 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit. Although we wish it was still in New York every year where it belongs. If the Thanksgiving day games don’t rotate from Detroit and Dallas, the draft should rotate either. But I digress, here is the full press release from the NFL. doitny
to think that NY had a monopoly on the draft until the idiots at Radio City didnt reserve the date after having the draft for 8 years. NYC had the draft since 1966. now they lost all that revenue. 2

GKnight83
Coming to Detroit now is like being in Pittsburgh a couple years before it was voted the best city in the US. Maybe more like Cleveland a year before people found out about the Flats or Warehouse District. Over the past 5 years the downtown area has been being rebuilt. You can drive into Greektown, pay $10 to park under your favorite restaurant and be bussed for free to any sporting event or venue. I would advise booking a room at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn (Ford's Fairlane Center). Another nice place to stay is the Marriott neat GM's Tech Center in Warren. There are some first-class Restaurants along Rt 24 in Bloomfield and you can check out Woodward Ave where the Dream Cruise or I Love Bob & Abishola (?) takes place. My fellow Michigander is right, Rochester Hills is nice but 40 minutes away. Also has the negative of being where Madona is from Then again you can stay in Auburn Hills near where the Palace use to be, be right off Route 75 and reach all the above in less than 20 minutes.
