Dean is an obvious one.  Won't last.  The late run at Safety really helped out.  We need to look LB, more DL, maybe RB/WR depth if we really like that.  Trade down is also a strong consideration.

I'd rank them (for the Jets) something like this:

  • Dean
  • Ebiketie
  • Ojabo
  • Mafe
  • Breece Hall
  • Chris Watson
  • Trey McBride
  • Logan Hall

Honestly, at this point, I feel like we can afford to go in almost any direction but I think LB is still a weak spot and if we could get Dean or Mafe, I'd be inclined to go that way.

Double dip at DE with Ebiketie would setup Sack Exchange 2.0

No way we take another edge at least that high

The goal there would be to finally move JFM back to the inside where he is best suited to play.  One more Edge player would give us enough of a rotation to do that.  Not urgent, but it would be a big boost tot he whole DL.

I think LB is a bigger need right now.  And I wouldn't hate Breece Hall or Trey McBride either.

I doubt it, considering we gave some good money to Jacob Martin.  With Lawson, Johnson, Huff, and Martin, it might be time to look at the LB's instead.

Most people love breece Hall but i am meh for him at this point.  I wouldn't complain about him but i would be very very surprised if we took him considering our other needs.

we need offense. i feel like rb and ol are the 2 parts of the offense we still need to address

At this point i would think they’d draft a developmental tackle in the 3rd or 4th round, not in the 2nd.  Rb is the obvious question mark since they have little depth, yet rb is not prioritized in this offense.  A trade back in round 2 probably makes too much sense unless they’re enamored with one guy and feel they’d come away with 4 starters right away from the draft before they do anything else.
