I agree that Mitchell should play if he wins the job. But saying he should get regard because of what he did last season isn’t right. Last season was last season and if he wants the job then he needs to play better. And this doesn’t just apply to him. Mitchell played decently, not great, last year, but missed 6 games because of a knee and then the blood clot thing. He's got 3 guys pushing against him instantly. Sure it's still a bad rep but he's it's not just one guy. He wasn't trash last year. He was average as a mid round rookie. And if he's deemed the starter, it won't be the end of the world. All we need is average, especially at RT with Rodgers at QB. If Saleh has an issue or JD makes a move to improve the position, fine.
