I know they revamped the training staff and all that, time to do it again. Maybe it is just bad luck, but leave nothing to chance. Costs them nothing against the cap to invest in trying to keep the players healthy.

they also need to replace that stupid turf they are trying out with real grass. Look, with global warming the fear of playing on dry brown grass and dirt is no longer as a big of a worry as it was in the 60s' and 70s'. Plus, there are only 2 or 3 places right now that snowfall is even a worry.

Speaking of curses, I just did some reflection of my personal sports nightmare:

LAST PLAYOFF APPEARANCE OF MY TEAMS

Detroit Pistons: 2018-2019 (Lost 1st Round 4-0)

Detroit Red Wings: 2015-2016 (Lost 1st Round 4-1)

Detroit Tigers: 2014 (Lost 1st Round 4-0)

NY Jets: 2010 (Lost AFC Championship)

West Ham United of the English Premier League are literally the only satisfaction I've known with a Europa Conference League championship in 2023 (and any soccer fan will tell you that is essentially the "NIT" of the European football world - with the Champions League the big dog on the block.

what we call a curse is just the passage of time

the NFL average career is less than 3 years

when I used to go to Mobile every year I'd hear scouts talking about players, guys who were stars, on everyone's fantasy teams and they talked about them like they were empty tubes of toothpaste.

No, they'd say, he's done. His elbow's bad. We need a new safety or whatever. The teams know when a guy is done before he knows.

the Ravens knew Chuck Clark's best football was behind him. The Packers knew Rodgers' best football was behind him

it's like Favre - he was an ironman until he tore his bicep under Mangini

a player like Becton might only have a 6 year career like Marcus McNeill - that's just how it goes sometimes

It's the fan base.  Toxic.

Fanbase has nothing to do with it. If anything Jets fans are unbelievably loyal.

If you want to talk about fans buying PSLs and season tickets that will always happen. There must be over 20 MILLION people in the NYC Metro area.

Wasn't CMG rarely if ever injured too (until this year)?

Dont know how long you’ve been a red wings fan but they were a model franchise for years.

Your Pistons made the Celtics irrelevant for 20+ years.  Wings won Cups back in the Day.

Pistons, Wings, AND Tigers all won championships in my lifetime.

Now you're just complaining to complain.

Thank you.

Things like this show that the Jets have literal institutional dysfunction going on.

If you’re going to invest millions in the players, it makes sense to protect your investment by insuring that the players are in the best shape possible and get the best treatment.

I remember during pre game warmups in the 70’s and 80’s the  teams would be on the ground stretching. Now? They walk around with headphones tossing balls and bullsh*tting. And they wonder why they’re tearing muscles and ligaments.

I don't get it!

How many high-end players do we have to lose before the Jets say as an organization....

LET'S TRY SOMETHING ELSE!!!
