Darnold missed an open Robby.  An open Herndon.   An open Enunwa.

It was on Darnold guys.

I AM AT THE GAME.

The 1st pass (to Bilal Powell) was slightly overthrown.  The 2nd pass was definitely catchable though.  Not sure if Enunwa turned his body in a weird way, causing it to be a more difficult catch.

Which actually means you have a worse view than those watching on TV.

When it goes through a player's hands, that's not a "miss".  Not all perfect throws, but Enunwa in particular definitely has to bring that in.

no dude seriously he missed all those throws.

Not playing like we have been on d man. Sam can settle down and do some things I think. Our d is not covering well at all today.

They simply can’t get to the quarterback .when you’re in the pocket then you’re waiting for crossing routes to develop and they do, it simply means you got all day to throw

stop looking for ways to make it not on Sam....he may be a great qb one day but we need to keep it real. he is missing receivers..all the excuses in the world aside. Better throws and we would have points on the board and this would be a different game.

he turned (adjusted to the ball) bc the ball was not accurate

Thought this season would be more exciting with a new young talented qb. But here I am more frustrated then I’ve ever been.

The thing is it’s not just the offense now.  The defense the past 4 quarters has regressed considerably.  The turnovers aren’t there, the coverage sucks, inability to get off the field on 3rd and long.  They can’t protect darnold.  There seems to be no legit leadership on or off the field and it’s as if darnold feels he has to fill that void b/c he’s the quarterback even though he’s the youngest guy on the team.

Are we really critizing Darnold for the two deep balls? The first was a perfect throw to Powell who is just too damn slow. The second was an average throw to Enunwa- he’s got to make that play...

he needs to throw these in order to get used to it. he’s not getting a lot of help.

People need to understand that sam has no oline and no real playmakers around him. Plus he is extremely young.  Cant expect him to look great this year. Once this team actually fields an NFL oline and adds a couple weapons this kid will shine

This.

Whomever can’t see that Sam is the real deal needs to adjust her eyes then maybe read a couple of football books

the defense should be embarrassed right now

If you get the ball on an NFL WR's hands it should be a catch. Ball wasn't perfect in either case but it was there.
