Amazing that these men aren't being sent to prison for solicitation, like so many others are. It's one of the main causes for over crowding in our prison system today I'd imagine.

Nobody goes to jail for solicitation. Time served(your night in jail after arrest)  and a fine. Worst thing they do is publish your name to embarrass the sh*t out of you and your family.

Also. He Should be prosecuted alone, but being stupid. What kind of man with his money, goes to a massage parlor? The man could rent the finest women in the world yet, he’s in some Sleazebag mini shopping mall massage parlor????

You can remove the word "white" and just focus on rich.  Ask OJ and Michael Jackson (though he could pass for both ?)

The exceptions don’t prove the norm. This is predominantly OWRD territory.

I don’t know why us average Joes take umbrage at old white rich guys being called out for what they are. It doesn’t mean all white guys, and it’s not like the rich ones don’t already think they’re a species apart from us.

What was the last time you heard someone get arrested going to a rub and tug parlor?

Walk around NYC   They are all over

But guys like Kraft are supposed to be helping those women, not taking advantage of them

Nothing to do with money, all the guys arrested get the same deal.  It's just meant to embarrass them.

WTF happened to the film they had of them "in the act" ? Bunch of BS. I just hope DBag Goodell does something.

I dont care about kraft.  Unless these are underage girls and he knew it.  I am not in favor of legalizing drugs but I have no qualms about prostitution.  You dont hear about guys beating and robbing people for hooker money

regardless of whether he gets prosecuted, his reputation has taken a major hit.

Yep. Pretty hard to look others in the eye and talk about integrity when you have that known about you.

Money means nothing to Kraft, but you can't buy reputation.

Let me start by saying, that I truly hate the Patriots and Bill Beliicheat.  With this said, I want to tell everyone that criticizes prostitution to stop the taboo!  This society needs to stop the pussyfication-George Carlin. Besides, it is one of the oldest business in the world.

I understand the sadness and injustice behind illegal activities such as prostitution and human trafficking (PHT). But for the love of Jets, the old man was doing what most of us have dreamed on our lifetime!

This is not the same as entering a guilty plea.

He won't have a record.

I don't know Florida criminal procedure to speak specifically to the mechanism involved in this agreement but in at least some states it is possible to enter an admission of guilt and have judgment suspended upon completion of further conditions. I would be surprised if Florida does not allow such an agreement.

He's definitely getting a better deal because he has the money to effectively challenge prosecution but the prosecutor is probably far more interested in gaining uncontroverted admissions about the trafficking ring than fight out all of the cases on the johns. The johns are not going to testify in their own trials which leaves the prosecutors to pursue all the johns and the trafficking organization on audioless video and the testimony of the trafficked women. Not great evidence.

You also don't hear about trafficking poor immigrants because it isn't a regularly big story. Only reason even this one made the news is because of Kraft's fame, legality aside. There's at least some evidence that legality encourages/induces trafficking, even more so when the country's got plenty of people with money (USA has little shortage of that). I get the idea of a woman choosing to do it for money, and that's fine by me, but legalizing has unintended consequences I'm sure you wouldn't be in favor of increasing. Guys beating & robbing people for hooker money? Probably not too often, but guys beating up trafficked hookers and robbing them of their freedom happens plenty.

All that aside, at least Kraft got humiliated this way. But as another noted, none of these guys busted there were going to do real time whether they were well connected like Kraft or not. If he was directly involved in the trafficking, and/or kept one as a pet slave at home, then let him die in jail. To keep him locked up they'd probably have to prove beyond a doubt that he was specifically requesting trafficked girls the way other scumbags specifically seek out kiddie porn (or in-person children outright), and even then it'd have to be more than his first conviction to keep him locked up. While Kraft isn't stupid enough to think everyone there was surely there of their free will, I guess it's also possible he just put it out of his mind and didn't think about it after getting the name of the place from someone.

The sunlight=disinfectant line comes to mind, and humiliating Kraft surely provides some sunlight. Enough to make a real dent in the industry that keeps these girls in servitude against their will? Probably not, unfortunately, but it's a start. We'll see if the league does anything, though I'm guessing not in the absence of relentless public/media pressure that I don't expect to see.

They dropped the charges for all the other nobodies who got caught with him.  Hate to spoil the chance to dump on the Patriots, but as far as I am concerned, unless they find evidence that Kraft was in on or knew about any human trafficking going on, he's just a man near 80 whose wife died of cancer a few years ago.

Sadly you are right, although I'd have to imagine they had some idea considering the report that some of these women had sex with 1200 men pre year. I can't imagine you are looking chipper in that kind of environment.

I'd love to know what the 2 video tapes they have on Kraft are.
