I remember Cager from the Florida game, he looked like a legit NFL receiver that day.

Yup.  He was awesome that day.  I was in the stands in Jacksonville for that one.  7 or 8 receptions, 100+ yards.  We might have won that game without him because the defense completely shut the Gators down until Q4, but it was a lot easier to sit through thanks to Cager.

Cager is huge, why didn't he get drafted

Coming off ankle surgery during an offseason when team MDs could not examine him didn't help.  He is also not very athletic.  I was not surprised that he was not picked, but like him as a UDFA

I'm going to make a prediction now.  Cager makes the team, or goes on PUP.  He had ankle surgery this season, and IMO that's why he's here.  From what I remember of him on the Canes he was a Red Zone nightmare

Partial to this kid because I saw every one of his games going back 3 seasons-Andrew Jamiel,  D2 Stonehill College (MA, Northeast Conference) WR. Only 5'10.5" not a burner, bur catches everything anywhere near him in traffic. A 3rd down, get open,  slot guy . Would expect he'll be a practice squad guys somewhere and very slowly work his way up the depth chart as a 3rd down/slot guy.

Edit - Looks like he spent most of his college career  (Miami and Georgia) injured.

From the limited video I've seen he's really big, fairly fast, average route-running but a body catcher.  Not really a hands catcher.  For a guy his size the ability to catch the ball away from the body would do wonders for his catch radius.

Looks like a PS candidate but his upside could be a WR5 and a redzone specialist.

Possession receiver.  Very good hands.  Not a great athlete.  Struggled through injuries.  Fromm was a much better QB this past season when he had a healthy Cager to throw to.  Solid UDFA signing.

Agree. Needs to get stronger. Could be a red zone specialist.
