slimjasi
After SF blows us out next week, I seriously think there is a chance he gets canned before week 3. 1

bgivs21
Rhule, McCarthy and Riverboat. Those are three coaches the Jets could have hired this offseason but instead they stuck with Gases dumbass

JetsFanatic
I would put the HC under the GM and let Douglas decide the fate of the HC. Obviously today sucked but no one is going to make a move after one game. Gregg Williams defense wasn't great today.
Icer
Gase is done after this year one way or the other. Not sure it makes a difference if its mid season or after week
Popular Post Beerfish
Darnold was a prime prospect QB. Gase has done nothing to make him better. Ever notice how this team plays a lot better on offense in hurry up when gase cannot get his mitts on the play calling?
Lith
WTF is this supposed to mean. I am glad that our coach understands different types of offensive ineptitude. 1 1

BornJetsFan1983
I'm listening to him talking and its like listening to a kid who doesn't understand what is happening. Reporter asks about seeing the same problems from last year to this year. And his responce is well it is completely differnt this year... Wtf ??? Dude its the same damn sh*t This is our coach!!! TMAC
He was brought it to develop Sam Darnold. Think about this. Think about the depth of incompetence of this organization. Breathtaking.

I didn’t see the game but was reading through the game posts. Unfortunately Gase will probably be here for the usual 3-4 year stint. Then another coach and another rebuild. Hopefully things will get better as the season progresses.

Rangers9
Well for one this years teams is missing playmakers on offense. And Bell was injured today. We also lost 2 major players on defense in Jamal and Mosley. And our only deep threat in Robby who is one of the few Jets O players capable of putting points on the scoreboard. And Robby had a big game today as did Jamal
RevisIsland610
Darnold was not good today and neither was the defense but Gase is an incompetent fool. He will be fired during or after the season.
ScarletKnight89
We'll fire Gase and then hire the next great defensive coordinator to be our Head Coach LMAO. The organization doesn't understand what it takes to win. I bet Joe D. wouldn't even get to hire his guy after Gase is gone. It'll be some type of combined effort between the owner and him, which basically means the owners guy.

Darnold has to learn how to put the team on his back, which he has not done once. Taking that awful sack is what a UDFA rookie does. New York Mick
Works for me. He shouldn’t of been hired to start with. I hope he’s fired before he ruins Darnold’s career. Barton
I think most would agree with this..... Sam may or may not be the answer at QB, but Gase thus far has not helped him at all. If anything, his playcalling AND his system has been a terrible fit for Darnold and has impeded his progress. Sam's strength is making plays on the move. Does Gase call plays to Sam's strength? Nope. He also has nobody to throw the ball to on the outside. It's ugly watching this offense.
