Is nobody else seeing the problem here? 

Why didn't Joe Douglas get a deal done? The Jets don't have any big contracts coming up. The Jets won't be cap strapped for years due to poor drafting by Macc. If the Jets paid Jamal this year, the deal would have been a bargain in a couple years. 

The Jets defense has gone from respectable to embarrassing despite the several upgrades to the CB group.

There were no upgrades at CB. Just brought in guys to play until we actually improve them. The moves made at CB are not categorically upgrade moves... they are ‘hold the fort’ moves.
