Please Explain: Why Must We Wait One More Day for the Inevitable?

Recommended Posts

Except for Sore-Eye, we Jet fans universally agree Gase must be fired...

Even the post game analysts are pretty much saying the writing is on the wall...

Why wait until tomorrow then?

We live in an instant gratification world...

We just endured one of the most brutal Jet seasons ever...

Come on, Johnson Bros, put Gase out of his misery....

Throw the loyal Jet fans a bone...

I don't get it...

I know we all want him publicly canned right on the 50 yard line but let him get back to Florham park so he can clean out his desk first.

Why couldn't office cleaners pack his sh*t up in boxes deliver it to his house or pile it up near his car.

The bus should stop players remain on the bus Adam Gase escorted to his car and off the property by security.

GAME OVER.

It’s a joke dude. But the classy thing to do is to fire him in person soon as he gets back to NJ

Because the Johnsons are imbeciles.  They have no football knowledge whatsoever and, worse yet, no business sense at all.

And Chris “Fredo” Johnson is a softie.  If he had any business sense at all he would fire Gaze tonight and say this sh*t is unacceptable in this organization.  We are hitting the reset button (again!) and will not tolerate failure.  We will get it right.

My sense is he feels bad for Gaze and is trying to make this as anti-climactic as possible for his sake.  He’s an idiot.

Whether we like Chris and Woody, they have been professional with their hires and fires. There is no advantage to firing Gase tonight over tomorrow morning. I don't think that Gase is a good head coach, but I have seen nothing from him that he deserves to be treated with contempt and disrespect. He did what he thought was his best.

His swipe card, and that of Loggains, should have been deactivated the moment the game clock read zeroes in Foxborough. Get the removalists to pack up their gear and ship it to their houses. There's no reason to wait until tomorrow. Do it now and get it over with.

Why humiliate them? Imaging how that would influence coaching candidates.
