Popular Post chirorob
You had to figure this was coming. He was scheduled to make 17.5 million next year. He was a beast, but the injuries have caught up to him, he has had 1 good season in the last 5. His sack totals are 1.5, 0, 16, 4 and 5. I love him as a player, but he had too many injuries. He can still play as a contributing player, but I wouldn't sign him to a contract that is not heavily incentive based. At this stage of his career, if he continues to play, I would have to thing it is on a contender to try to get a ring. 8

Popular Post nycdan
J.J. is free at last. Good for him. Injuries have robbed him of his peak greatness but he is one of the best all-around players and characters in the game from what I've seen. Not sure what he's got left, but if JD wanted to bring him in, I'd love to see him wearing the uniform for a season or three.

Drafting a Qb is the only way through this. Watson will be shipped out and they will start over with young hungry players looking for an opportunity. Cesario will establish the NE game plan with team first and very few FA signings until team depth is established Edited February 12, 2021 by 32EBoozer

Irish Jet
He's the kind of guy who we'd pay only for his to play like 3 games because of injury. I'd be very wary of him, it would give us a genuinely elite front but unless we're getting Watson we should be focusing on the rebuild.

He is not what a younger team needs. JJ should be a part time player on a good team, not a full time player on a team that started 0-12.
