One absolute hall mark of all of our defensive head coaches is their defense utterly failing on a key drive after we get close .  Rex, bowles, saleh all the same their prize defenses just fold badly when needed most.

When's the last time a Jets S made a big play?  They don't seem to cover anyone. Maye?  Davis is a willing tackler, but 20 yards or more down the field.

I see alot of positives out of this game. Carter is great, but we need a bruising back ala the Bus for those 1st and goal runs. Mims is still flaky but I'm not ready to give up on him, yet. The Defense really played well, overall. We need a CB or safety who can make turnovers. We need a pass rusher. Seriously, one or two players away from winning this game.

You don't get to two AFC title games doing that and that certainly wasn't the issue in those games.
