Popular Post Sperm Edwards
93 years old is a pretty good run, though. Both his midi-chlorians and his voice were off the scale. RIP 13

Popular Post Dcat
RIP. An amazing, iconic actor. Saw him live on Broadway several times. Sat in the 3rd row in his Award winning performances of Fences. Decades later, Denzel did the same. Outstanding in each of his film roles as well. RIP Mr. Jones. You will be missed and remembered. 11

#27TheDominator
Such a great voice and so many great roles. I think I first remember him on re-runs of him in the Great White Hope, based on the Jack Johnson, though I guess they changed the name. Vader. Chasing Costner around with a bat until being reminded that he was a pacifist. Eddie Murphy's dad in Coming to America. RIP

Jet_Engine1
Had no idea James Earl Jones was a commissioned officer in the US Army and had a Ranger Tab!! Damn!! -Jones was commissioned in mid-1953, after the Korean War's end, and reported to Fort Benning (now Fort Moore) to attend the Infantry Officers Basic Course. He attended Ranger School and received his Ranger Tab. Jones was assigned to Headquarter and Headquarters Company, 38th Regimental Combat Team.[23] He was initially to report to Fort Leonard Wood, but his unit was instead sent to establish a cold-weather training command at the former Camp Hale near Leadville, Colorado. His battalion became a training unit in the rugged terrain of the Rocky Mountains. Jones was promoted to first lieutenant prior to his discharge.[24]
