- Water is wet. Like the front of bitonti’s khakis that time CBNY tried to fight him in the bathroom at the senior bowl and he turned around from the urinal so fast he peed on himself and spent the rest of the day holding a program over his junk.

The plan is very sound. The execution will be important because the competition will be tough.

Free Agency and over paying go hand in hand. The key is contract structure giving teams an out in years 3 through 5 of any deal that is cap friendly. Most Free Agents have 2 or 3 years of valuable production it’s the remaining years that are cause for concern.

Yea I get that everyone needs to get paid. I think the contract we give him is going to be absurd

One thing needs to be addressed. STAY AWAY FROM ANSAH. This should be his profile pic:

People need to realize with these new tax laws teams in high tax states like NY/NJ/CA etc have to overpay in FA to compete with low tax states. Macc being Macc doesn't help but it's not all on him...

I know exactly what you mean. Get here Vegas - no state income tax over California.    You can offer a free agent less because he's going to bring more home . High tax state can eat up your salary space fast in free agency.

If winning in 2019 is the only way to save mccagnan’s job he’s going balls out to get bell and veteran Ol help like saffold.

One interesting thing about pauline’s Take is that the jets want to sign a pass rusher in FA so they don’t have to take one at 3 - implying that OL would not be the pick at 3.
