Beerfish Posted November 27, 2020 Share Posted November 27, 2020 McCarthy is bad right now, the offense has gone south the D has been terrible, however i think it is totally NOT correct that he was some kind of hanger on to rogers for 10 years. The guy has an excellent resume and has indeed won a super bowl. All coaches with a franchise Qb look good and most you can bury once their franchise guy goes away (See Belli) You do not have over a 600 winning pct and 8 years with at least 10 wins by fluke. And with that as a background....McCarthy is 1000X better than Gase who shows little to no innovation, fails to utilize presnap movement as does 95% of the rest of the NFL and eventually plays favorites without developing anyone along the lines of Rogers. That team seems to always be loaded but underachieves by a lot. Parcells couldn’t do much and neither could Garrett. McCarthy may want to make changes but is getting push back.
