Texans step up to get the deal done. Basis? Why else would the Jets’ jet be on the tarmac in Houston at noon today? If true they would get Rodgers for two seasons and then still have to get a back up in the draft or find another vet. And it would also mean giving up on Zach with two seasons left on his contract. I agree that it makes no sense, especially from Houston’s standpoint. For us , we would be getting the #2 pick and could get Wilson’s replacement with that. Rookie contract reset.
