Dalvin Cook is presumably out, Izzy is injured and return date is undetermined yet ??, Breece first game back and hasnt had a carry in the pre season so can only assume limited touches, so that leaves Michael Carter and Bowden as your 2 main backs for the Bills? or do they think Izzy will be 100% by then ? Some guys catch on with other teams and make us regret it, but most cut guys don't. There is a little something there with Bam but there is also not enough there. He was dinged up last year, less effective, and also running behind a very damaged o-line later in the year. He looked pretty good this pre-season. More burst than last year. And he is a good receiver. Bam had a few good highlights, but I was never wowed by him. I think Carter, healthy, is a better back. Breece does not need a few weeks. Why is this still a thing? He made it into practice before the guy we absolutely had to sign to get those early season reps practiced (has Cook practiced yet?) Abanikanda has a contusion, they hurt but they heal without much in the way on lingering effects. Knight is a nice jack-of-all-trades type backup, while MC1 has specialist skills when it comes to catching the ball. That was the difference, and I thought it was obvious.
