Team Building: If the Jets finish with a top 10 pick what position do you target?

This is not a draft question as much as a team building one. 
 

Let’s say the Jets finish in the top 10 but aren’t bad enough to get one of the big time QB prospects at the top of the draft. What do you do?  

Best available OL or WR/TE? 

Or 

Do you need to draft Rodgers replacement, knowing there are likely going to be a bunch of QBs going in round 1 this year. 

I think I’m going OL/WR/TE. 2024 should provide a favorable schedule and I am going all in on Rodgers. Plus a great offensive lineman or weapon will only help the next QB (whomever that is). 
 

If the Jets draft a defensive player with that pick everyone in the building should be fired on the spot.

It's  Sept and we are already talking about who we should draft in 2024.

100% have to draft a QB. There’s 5 good prospects coming out in this draft take one of them to sit behind Rodgers for a year or two. It’s the only hope for this franchise going forward.

The Jets should draft anything but QB’s going forward. Just stop trying. Whatever old Ouija curse that exists for drafted QBs on the Jets we should just all come to terms that it’s real and it exists at this point.

They need a franchise tackle. If there is one available in the top 10 that would be the guy. Even if Becton hypothetically has a good year and you want to bring him back, draft a tackle and have that player and Becton be your tackles with AVT, Tippman, and possibly McGovern as the interior of your line.

Rodgers is coming back and Max Mitchell and Carter Warren are the only OT’s under contract next year.

Personally I say keep AVT at RT, draft a LT in the 1st round and look to add an interior OL in FA.

I don't know how we don't go with OL because at some point in the future we need an OL that can effectively pass block (and keep healthy) whoever our QB turns out to be.

Of course I said the same exact thing about our OL this past off season too. Maybe next year we will actually make it happen.

a new head coach and gm? honestly it does not matter we are cursed. we had our best draft maybe ever last year and we are trash. those guys are gona want out. i hate to be this pessimistic but i do not think the jets will ever win the super bowl again. namath made a deal with the devil.

QB but more importantly a QB who can sit behind Rodgers for a year or two.  Then in 2-3 years when Sauce, Wilson etc are due big money there is still a QB playing on a rookie deal.

They traded up for Love. As if they had to have him. They hadn’t used a 1st round pick on O in like 10 years.
