Most likely option is to activate TE Kenny Yeboah off IR if he is healthy. He’s at least a strong contributor on Special Teams and can give some snaps at TE Call up TE Zack Kuntz from the Practice Squad - let’s see what he can do Go with 2 TEs and use Nick Bawden more along with Duane Brown as a blocking TE - maybe use the roster spot for an extra offensive lineman (Roger Saffold) or a WR (Malik Taylor) Go with 2 TEs, cut Boyle and activate Aaron Rodgers Find a free agent TE - Zach Ertz isn’t coming here, but there are several serviceable veterans available for a short-term rental (OJ Howard?) Bring ZW back with Kuntz, Anaconda, Brownlee, all of them. Empty the practice squad. Heck, bring in 3 or 4 from someone elses practice squad. Give Hackett a whole new squad of rookies who've never taken an NFL snap. Make him earn his $. Oh, last thing, refund all the season tic holder for the last half of the season. redlichtie Posted December 5, 2023 Share Posted December 5, 2023 Horrible to see any player get injured and best wishes and all that to CJ Uzomah but this is one injury that should present an opportunity, addition by subtraction even, Uzomah has been a gigantic disappointment and we actually have some exciting young talent at the position. He’s been blocking the pathway (ironically the one thing he’s been good at blocking)for too long and should’ve been binned off a while back….that said, nobody at TE is going to shine in this offense, Tyler Conklin actually deserves huge credit for the last 2 seasons and is an underrated plus on this team.
