    • I hate this for several reasons.
    • So Justin fields is a punk.  So what’s new.  It’s kind of a generational thing.  He’s been pampered his whole football life and when he gets to the nfl he has to do it the way the coaches draw it up.  I guess some of this applies to Zach and even Lawrence but I don’t think those guys were personally disliked by their team mates.
    • Wonderful. 1. Jets have a propensity to embarrass themselves to the sublime when they play in front of a national audience. 2. Going out to the west coast is always a major disadvantage.  3. San Francisco is one of the worst match-ups to open the season for any team. Conclusion: Bad luck, bad karma or sabotage ??? However... An ass kicking early means little.  I'm sticking with my original prediction for the 2024 season. If Rodgers does not miss any significant time AND is healthy at the end of the season, the Jets will not only be in the playoffs, they will be hosting a home playoff game for the first time since... well, I cant remember. If Rodgers goes down again. Tyrod will do a good job of it, but I don't see them overcoming the same disaster twice.  Tyrod will prevent a total collapse, but playoffs are out unless they back into them.  JD and Saleh are gone.
