sec101row23
For a back up swing tackle at a couple million per year it probably wouldn’t be a horrendous deal.

David Harris
Backup swing tackle would be great i mean if we’re trying to get the best 5 on the field, could he beat Winters out for RG?

mrcoops
He could be possible insurance for Shell, in case his injury lingers. Not sure I see Smith as a swing tackle though. Has he ever played anything except RT at the pro level?

Most likely depth at this point, but I would actually like to see this happen. If Pollack wants him that is a good sign. Gase said in that interview last week that we need more bodies for the O line in General. Andre Smith would be a good body to bring in. I like it. Bleedin Green
He's seemed to have an endless string of injuries for years now, so doesn't seem to be someone you can rely on too heavily. With that said, with little-to-no depth currently on the OL, he's not a bad consideration to compete for a spot, just as long as there's very little given in guarantees and can be easily moved along from if he they end up with any better alternatives. TheGoose
Brandon Shell: #56T per PFF Andre Smith: #66T per PFF (however, Smith has playing experience at both LT and RT) He’d be an awesome signing.
