Douglas hasn't been sucked into that, but now he needs to come back with a strong performance on his 2nd tier targets. Didn't anyone on the board read the recent article on JD? He was trained by Ozzie who never signed big ticket free agents but instead went with mid level veterans. This strategy has worked out pretty well for the Ravens and Pats over the years.
