As long as Brady doesn't blast himself out of town.

Bowles wants nothing to do with the offense. It would take 5 first round picks minimum , all to get a guy  who retired once already.

who is trading for him and why would Brady want out ?

Huh. Brady released a statement thanking and congratulating Arians, but doesn’t mention anything about Bowles or staying with the Bucs. More of a “hey, thanks for the good times” kinda thing.

I still think he ends up on SF next year (though Miami is probably also in play).

Bowles is a good man who got shafted by Maccagnan’s historic awfulness here.  Glad he’s getting this chance.

Agreed. He took so many hits that weren't deserved and never complained. I always thought he would get the job after Brady retired. Glad he is getting this shot. NFC cleared out so much talent, they will win 13 games next year.

Always felt the staff that Bowles built with the Jets was his downfall. Will be interesting to see what changes he might make in Tampa if any.

100%. He was too loyal to people who didn't deserve the positions he gave them. Kacy was a terrible DC. Shouldn't have been hired and should have been fired.

It’s already been posted in the internet that both Larry Foote & Kacey Rodgers have been promoted from LBers and DLine coaches, respectively, and will be Co-Defensive Coordinators under Bowles.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the "likely scenario" is the Bucs will promote ILBs coach Larry Foote and DL coach Kacy Rodgers to co-defensive coordinators.

A two-time Super Bowl champion with the Steelers as a linebacker, Foote, 41, retired after the 2014 season and immediately joined coach Bruce Arians' staff in Arizona as an assistant. He's been working alongside Arians and Todd Bowles for years. The same can be said for Rodgers, who was Bowles' DC with the Jets. With Bowles replacing Arians as head coach in Tampa Bay, it makes sense to promote this duo for continuity.
