Boomer Thinks Zach's Performance in First Preseason Game "Troubling"...

Boomer Esiason, on his morning show, did not like what he witnessed in Zach's limited play before his injury...

INT on short pass was a repeat of the same problem that Wilson had in his Rookie season...

And on that ill-advised run that he got hurt on: why was he scrambling/running up the field so early in game one of preseason?...

Why not just go down in such a meaningless situation?...

He thinks they were "rookie" mistakes, when we had heard that Wilson had made big strides in the off-season...

The tools are there, the good judgement is not...

Well, he isn't wrong. With that said, F off Boomer. Zach was in for about ten seconds before his human like meniscus couldn't keep up with his super hero like aura.

He was out to prove it all in the first preseason game and the injury could be a blessing, that it forces him to chill out and understand that the qb position is not about arm or legs.  He’s got enough of both.  He just needs to relax and watching Flacco is ok for now.

Zach had a bad 5 minutes...sh*t happens...  Everybody makes mistakes and the kid ****ed it up and is paying for it.  Hopefully he learned another lesson here which I think he will.  But to say someone is going to be good or bad because of that is ridiculous and just another troll looking for attention.

I'd guess Zack didn't take his Adderall the morning day of the game and was a little overhyped....kidding and It's something that is taboo to say and very rarely mentioned but it does play a role in the thought processes and behaviors of people using it.

But let's pretend that we all forgot about that.

Really... boomer summed him up in 5 preseason passes.... probably wasn't nerves our anything noted by vet Lawson in interview who didn't even get to b play the game! 

So how About this.....

I've seen so much BS about a bad throw... it wasn't.. throw was great,  problem was he locked eyes with his target like his mom's other BFF... if he does even a little head movement it is a 1st down. Teachable

The play he got hurt on... like did any off you wankers even watch it?  A simple cut any 21/22 year old is capable of.... even "short round" could have made that cut. Are we sure there wasn't left over damage from last year? We're crying about decision making but really..... are you sure. 

 

Get over it.... Zach just isn't defined by that!  He will be defined by in game play

Not only does Jeremiah not mention Zach Wilson at all but Bucky Brooks goes out his way to say he expects Zach Wilson to take a major step forward. 
Picking the Jets to finish last in the division is not exactly a revelation- I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone that hasn’t.  

Look, there’s plenty to not It like about ZW - it’s just challenging when you continue to make stuff up.   I get sh*t for pushing back, but when it’s just outward BS I’m. not going to leave it alone.

I never mind when you push back and I admire your passion. My point was that Jeremiah does everything he can to avoid talking about Zach Wilson and when he does he masks it with a coughing fit.

I was as disappointed as the next guy in that throw, but it’s one throw - in a pre-season.  
 

My best guess as to what has happened - Zach’s been talking about trusting his reads and just let it rip, play within the timing of the offense etc.  his read was wrong.  Not exactly inspiring, but it’s my guess as to what happened.

He is just going to make sh*t up to push his narrative.  It's all bullsh*t.  He makes SAR1 look like poster of the year.  I'm still not sure they aren't the same person.
