jetsfan56
I would like to see one speed receiver ie Brown or Beckham , resign Cobb who can be a good safety valve for his buddy, Zeitler and one other competent lineman. LAD_Brooklyn
My most realistic mock off-season EVER. *Re-sign TE Yeboah (RFA) LT Becton RT Turner C McGovern DT Thomas DE Huff CB Hardee SS Whitehead S Clark FS Davis K Zuerlein P Morstead **Free Agents QB Carson Wentz (Rams) RB Antonio Gibson (Commanders) WR Curtis Samuel (Commanders) G Jon Runyan (Packers) OT Cameron Fleming (Broncos) DT Javon Kinlaw (49ers) DE Marcus Davenport (Vikings) The above along with telling CJ Mosley to take a significant payout and off we go. This would definitely disappoint 95% of the fan base but I don't see us having a splashy off-season. Get Becton to sign a one year deal, with McGovern and Turner signing as key reserves. Get Huff his big deal. If anything happens to Rodgers we can use a vet like Wentz in there with a rookie like Travis (FSU) as a 3rd QB. Jon Runyan is pretty meh, but played decent ball for the Packers the past few years. Fleming is a vet swing tackle. Davenport can fill in as our backend pass rusher as everyone else moves up the depth chart.

The market provides their guaranteed worth. I'm glad you got the point finally. The only way players will be convinced in with guaranteed money which the jets will have to be in at the high end and throwing that out for mid-tier players who will get cut is a bad idea. Beerfish
I hope clark was signed for near vet minimum. I don't think he is that good and is coming off a bad injury.

derp
An under the radar low floor solid ceiling OL it might be fun to see them target - Matt Hennessy. Has played well for the Falcons - with experience at center and guard - but coming off a season ending injury last summer. His brother Thomas is the Jets’ long snapper.

Beerfish
I'll revisit the two players I mentioned a long time ago for the jets. Andrus Peat - Can play guard or tackle (30) Cody Whitehair - Can play guard or center. (31)

Warfish
JD's moves will tell us A LOT about how HE views this team. There is every possibility he thinks the team is a heck of a lot better/Super Bowl caliber than the fans do, and he doesn't make any/many big moves. Or he might be desperate to save his job, and throws the house at FA. Either way, will say alot, be interesting to see how it plays out.
