I think we need a big possession receiver who can move the chains, even though that's not usually who Gase likes. Gandy fits the bill on that. Gandy has elite size and would make a terrific red zone threat who can box out even the biggest and most physical of corners on 50/50 balls. He's like a Brandon Marshall. Something is up with Peoples-Jones so I'm wary of him. He's an athletic freak with an insane vertical so he'd be the more LIKELY pick for Douglas given our signings of Perriman and Doctson and the Mims pick.

Warfish
So far, pretty happy all things considered. Missed the individual guys I lusted after, as so often happens in the draft lol. But got the spots I wanted, mostly. Elite OT Prospect - Acquired! #1 WR Prospect - Acquired! Cornerback/Nickel - Acquired! (Plus he does kick returns as a bonus) Edge - Not MY preference this cycle, but at least a prospect was acquired! Running Back - Acquired! MOAR O-LINE - Acquired! #2 WR Prospect - Only real big miss so far in my book, but this draft fell VERY poorly to the Jets in terms of WR IMO. We're lucky we even got Mims tbqh. Center - I guess Douglas really thinks alot of the FA guy we picked up. I REALLY wanted Hennessy or Biadascz, but if McGovern is good and Harrison an adequate backup, so be it. So no real complaints so far with priorities and decision making. Just sad no Center.

It was literally one of the worst things I have ever heard. It was literally painful. The criticism of this round is ridiculous. Sure we would all like another WR but all of these are excellent depth picks who will contribute and that makes the Jets a better team. Our depth is so bad it would take a couple years to fix. We don't have a CB1 but we have plenty of CB2-CB4s. Logan Ryan will fill the CB1 slot. I'm 99.9 % convinced he's a Jet very soon.
Philc1
Jets had such a great draft it’s gonna sting really hard when they announce this season is cancelled because Goodell can’t organize a one car parade

I was hoping the Jets grabbed another WR with one of those 4th round picks but I'll trust that JD knows what he's doing. Morgan was a good pick but Clark you could of gotten in the 6th round. You guys are sleeping hard on Desir he was a good CB1 two years ago with Indy and held his own one on one with Deandre Hopkins holding him to 36 yards receiving
