I'd expect an elevation of Gregg Williams to interim HC and putting someone like Jim Bob Cooter in charge of the offense. I would think both Gase and Dowell Loggains might get the ax at the same time..... if we're lucky! Can't get rid of too much more of that and still expect the offense to get on the field in an organized way a week later. Keep Cooter, keep Hines Ware, Frank Pollack, etc. (for this season) 3

If true, what it tells me is that the Jets had to win this past Sunday (or look competitive) and win on Thursday, and because of what happened yesterday the Thursday option is off the table. So if true.......Gase is GONE!

jason423
While I hope this is true, generally you are reaching out about candidates next year not this one and normally that doesnt start for at least another month even when you know the coach is like Adam Gase. Hopefully Im wrong though and the Jets are taking a different approach.

I was wrong Gase is the worst. The Jets were even able to outdo themselves doing the incomprehensible, actually finding someone worse than Bowles. In the process they also were able to do something I promised myself wouldn’t happen from the day he was drafted. They were able to destroy Sam Darnold. I kept telling myself, “they’ll be smart, they’ll do all they can to surround Darnold with protection and some playmakers, they’ve seen all around the league examples of young QBs getting wrecked by bad management”. 3

There is no pure football mind with a no BS mindset attached. And he left CFB precisely because he got sick of recruiting.
